For over 50 years, Guerreros Judo has helped students of all ages build confidence, discipline, strength, and character through the art and sport of judo. As a long‑standing, community‑rooted, volunteer‑driven club, we are dedicated to teaching traditional judo values and developing strong individuals both mentally and physically.
Guerreros Judo has been active in the community for over five decades, producing students who thrive both in life and in competition. Our team recently made history by earning major national titles, including victories at the USA Judo Junior Olympics National Championships with multiple champions on the podium.
Our judo program teaches far more than throws and techniques. Students learn:
Respect
Perseverance
Self‑discipline
Courtesy
Goal‑setting
These life skills are fundamental principles we emphasize at every level.
Our instructors bring a combined 50+ years of experience on the mat and are committed to nurturing each student’s growth—athletically, mentally, and personally. Many of our coaches and leaders have deep roots in the club’s 50‑year history.
We offer programs for all ages—from young beginners to adults seeking a supportive and challenging martial arts environment. Our schedule includes our age‑based structure, with classes for:
Ages 4–6 (early fundamentals)
Ages 7–10 (skill development & confidence building)
Ages 11–Adult (technique, conditioning, and competitive training)
Our classes focus on progressive learning, safety, and building a strong foundation in both judo and character.
While many students join for fitness, discipline, or confidence, others choose to compete. Guerreros Judo provides a supportive path for both recreational and competitive athletes.
Our athletes have excelled nationally, including dominating fields of over 1,100 competitors and bringing home multiple championship titles & moving on to compete internationally for Team USA Judo.
Whether you’re looking for a positive activity for your child or a community‑focused dojo that challenges you to grow, you’ll find a home here.
